Hello,
Two things I have learned about prayer. Prayer works but God doesn't want you to just pray and leave things at his hand. He will take one step if you go ahead and take your steps. When I was in basic training, I could not do 50 pushups. When I had to do the final PT, I had just gotten over the flu. So I prayed for strength and God gave me the strength I needed. When I got to 49 I felt as though I could do more, but once I done my 50, I could do no more.

Thank you for that Clark! I completely agree, to many people today think by a simple prayer their life will be saved. Faith without works is dead! You must do all that you can do, and God will make up the difference. Remember HE knows your heart. And HE knows if you've given your all. And believe me, he doesn't want you to be in debt, you are basically a slave if you get in too much debt. HE gave you agency, which is the ability to choose for yourself. Don't give up your agency! Stay sober, and stay out of debt!
